The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse was founded in 1909 as the La Crosse Normal School. A public university, it is located in La Crosse, Wisconsin. The university is a part of the University of Wisconsin System and awards Bachelor's, Master's and one Doctoral degree. Originally known for its physical education program it now offers undergraduate and graduate programs through its 3 colleges—The College of Business Administration, College of Liberal Studies and College of Science and Health—besides a certificate program in Medical Dosimetry.
